The platform
What is Amarine?
One platform for a haulage company's compliance and paperwork: the fleet and its inspections, the drivers and their documents, walkaround checks and defects, training, incidents, and invoices, with a portal for the office, an app for the drivers and a portal for the garage.
Who is it for?
UK operators running lorries and trailers under an operator's licence, their transport managers and drivers, and the garages that look after their vehicles.
Can we bring the data we already have?
Yes. Vehicles, their due dates, maintenance history and tachograph infringements can be imported from a spreadsheet, and inspection sheets can be emailed to your company's own address on the platform to be read and filed.
Is it only for lorries?
Today Amarine is built for operators running lorries and trailers. Buses and coaches, vans, company cars and agricultural vehicles are coming soon. What comes next →
Can it download tachographs remotely, or track vehicles?
Both are coming soon as add-ons: remote download of driver cards and vehicle units, read straight into infringements, and vehicle tracking with mileage read on its own. See the add-ons →
Does it help with a DVSA visit?
It keeps the evidence DVSA asks to see: walkarounds and defects, inspection sheets, repairs, wheel re-torques, drivers' licence checks and training. All written once and kept, with an audit pack for any vehicle.
Drivers
Do drivers have to install an app?
No store, no download. The driver app opens in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like any other app.
Which languages?
The driver app, including the walkaround check, the training and the assistant, works in English and Romanian. If your drivers need another language, such as Polish, Bulgarian or Lithuanian, ask us: we add it on request.
What can a driver do in it?
Their onboarding step by step, their documents in one wallet, the daily walkaround, reporting a defect or an incident with photos, training, and invoices and expenses for the self-employed.
The AI assistant
Does the AI make decisions?
No. It reads your records and your procedures, answers and suggests. Anything that would change something, such as a booking or a training sent to a driver, arrives as a card with a button, and nothing happens until a person presses it.
Can it get a number wrong?
The numbers are not its to get wrong: what is due, what is overdue, what a driver is owed and whether a bridge is high enough are worked out by the platform from the records. The assistant only puts them into words.
Garages and transport managers
Can our garage use it?
Yes. Invite them and they fill in inspection sheets on the platform, answer your bookings and invoice from the signed sheet. They see only the vehicles you give them. It is free for them when you invite them.
I am the transport manager for several companies.
You sign in once and see every company you manage side by side: what is overdue, what is open and what is waiting on you. Then step into any of them.
Your data
Where is our data kept?
In the UK, in a London data centre.
Who can see it?
Only your company. Every company on the platform is kept apart; a garage sees only the vehicles you gave it; a driver sees their own records. Office accounts can be protected with two-step sign-in.
Can records be deleted?
Records that count as evidence are kept. A mistake is voided with a reason and stays on file, so the history is always complete.
Price
How much is it?
Transport operators: £25 a month plus £1 a month per vehicle, everything included. Trailers are included up to the number of lorries you have. Workshops on their own: £20 a month. The first month is free, and all prices exclude VAT. The full price list →
